Creating Just For The Joy Of It
As a native of Northeast Ohio who has traveled to more than 25 countries and spent time living in the UK, I draw inspiration from exploring the beauty of nature and the ethereal. I've always expressed myself through creating, and my art is a reflection of my spiritual connection and experience of the world - it is a fingerprint of my life. Through experimenting with unique techniques and mediums, I strive to create texture, movement, and depth in my work. My soft whimsical expressions capture the translucent and ever-changing qualities of my subjects, while my bold organic abstracts tell my truth and stories. Join me on a journey of exploration through my art, which is inspired by my love of travel, meditation, and the beauty of nature.
When it comes to my art, I'm a fan of using a variety of mediums, including watercolor, gouache, acrylic, and alcohol ink. I love to experiment with stretching techniques and trying out new substrates to create unique effects in my work. One of my favorite things to paint is floral abstracts, which bring me a lot of joy. While I usually paint in my studio, I also enjoy occasionally painting Plein air. In my downtime, I like to unwind by making jewelry.
